Biography

Yoichi Okayama learned organometallic chemistry and received his Master degree at the Department of Applied Chemistry of Kobe University with Professor Atsunori Mori’s supervision. There, he found novel type of hetero-biaryls with molecular asymmetry and developed asymmetric synthesis of them. Then he joined Nippon Shokubai Co., LTD. as a researcher. He joined Hawker Lab as a visiting researcher from Nov. 2020 to learn synthesis and the strategy, characterization and evaluation of polymer, block polymer chemistry, and so on.
