Biography

Takashi was born and raised in Yokohama, a suburb of Tokyo, Japan. He worked under Professor Masato Ito at Soka University to investigate novel azobenzene synthesis and its photophysical properties, earning a BSc in 2020. He moved to the Jun Terao group at the University of Tokyo to work on photoprocessable gels using supramolecular platinum complexes, obtaining an MSc in 2022. In the Fall of 2022, Takashi began his Ph.D. studies in polymer chemistry under the supervision of Professors Craig Hawker and Javier Read de Alaniz.

Research

Takashi is currently working on Click chemistry for 3D printing.
