Biography

Kenny was born and raised in Darwin, Australia. He obtained his B.E (Chem) from the University of Sydney in 2018, before working in industry for two years at a local silicone extrusion company, Jehbco Manufacturing. In 2020, he began his graduate studies at the University of New South Wales under the guidance of Prof. Cyrille Boyer and Dr. Nathaniel Corrigan. His PhD thesis focused on the use of RAFT photopolymerization and polymerization induced microphase separation to create functional nanostructured materials via 3D printing. In September 2025, he joined the Hawker group as a postdoctoral researcher.
