Biography

Kazuhisa received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemistry from Konan University. He worked in the Hiroshi Danjo group making macrocyclic host molecules for molecular connecting modules. He continued to develop stimuli-responsive polymeric materials made by molecular machines during his Ph.D. in macromolecular science at Osaka university, under the guidance of Prof. Akira Harada. After graduation, he worked in R&D, marketing, and technical support at Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation. Kazuhisa joined the Craig Hawker group in 2023.

Research

Kazuhisa’s research focuses on the construction of high-throughput methods for polymer synthesis and also functional materials via structure-controlled polymers.
