Biography

Jung-Ah received her BS (2010) and MS (2012) degree in Chemistry from EwhaWomans University. At Ewha Womans University, she developed methods to form a new C-C double bond using Ruthenium catalysts under the guidance of Professor So-Yeop Han.Then, she joined the Professor Tae-Lim Choi’s group at Seoul National University andreceived her Ph.D. in 2017. During her Ph.D., her research focused on developing newliving/controlled olefin metathesis polymerizations using Grubbs catalysts and understandingtheir mechanisms based on organic and organometallic chemistry. Jung-Ah joined theHawker group in October 2018.

Research

Jung-Ah is currently working on the self-assembly of star diblock copolymers and the development of bioactive polymeric hydrogels for 3D bioprinting
