Joseph received his B.S degree (2013) in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at KAIST. He then joined the group of Professor Bumjoon Kim at KAIST as a graduate student. During his PhD, he worked on generation of block copolymer particles with controlled size, shape and nanostructure and understand their formation mechanism based on the self- assembly under confinement in emulsion droplet. He joined Hawker group as a postdoctoral researcher in September 2019.
Joseph is working on i) polymer nanoparticles for imaging agents and ii) assembly of functionalized block copolymers into controlled nanostructures.
