Biography

Elliott studied a BSc in chemistry at The University of Sheffield, UK before pursuing a MSc(Res) at Bristol University, UK. He then moved to ETH Zurich in Switzerland. Here, his doctoral work focused on palladium-catalyzed carbofunctionalization reactions of acid chlorides and unsaturated C–C bonds. During his PhD, Elliott was a visiting researcher at Seoul National University (SNU) where he led a collaboration focusing on the application of bifunctional norbornenes in ROMP. Elliott is currently a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) in the Hawker group.
