Biography

Declan attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor campus, where he got his B.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering with a minor in Physics. During his time at Michigan, he worked in the Love group on high extensibility elastomeric tapes for muscle and joint stabilizing applications. Declan is now pursuing his Ph.D. in Materials under the direction of Professor Craig Hawker.

Research

Declan is currently working on degradable cyclic polymers for coating and surface patterning applications, as well as block copolymer phase behavior studies.
