Pontus Lundberg

Pontus was born and raised in Karlstad, Sweden. In 2001 he entered the M. Sc. program in chemical engineering, specializing in materials chemistry, at Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden. At Uppsala University, Pontus found the interest for polymers in the group of Prof. Jns Hilborn and performed his diploma work at IBM Almaden Research center under the supervision of Dr. James L. Hedrick. After receiving his M. Sc. degree in 2006 he joined the Coating Technology group, lead by Prof. Anders Hult, at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden. Working under the supervision of both Prof. Anders Hult and Ass. Prof. Michael Malkoch, Pontus received his Ph.D. in polymer technology in 2010. Early 2011 Pontus joined the group of Prof. Craig J. Hawker as a postdoctoral scholar, funded by the Wenner-Gren foundation and Bengt Lundqvist memorial foundation.
