Nisha was born in a small town named Yamuna Nagar in North India. After obtaining MS degree from Kurukshetra University in India, she moved to Panacea Biotec (Drug Discovery Research) in 2005 where she worked for four years as a research associate. After obtaining synthetic chemistry skills from Panacea Biotec, Nisha moved to OSU in Fall 2009 to pursue PhD in synthetic material chemistry. Her PhD dissertation was focused on the synthesis, properties and supramolecular self-assembly of novel n-type small organic molecule semiconductors. She started my research in Hawker’s group as postdoctoral scholar since July 2013, and is working on the control of thermoelectric transport via n-type organic material as well as the synthesis of novel aromatic thermosets.
