Manon Rolland

Visiting Student

Manon was born in the town of Aix en Provence, France and did her chemistry studies at CPE Lyon, an engineering school and will received her Master’s degree in 2017 with a specialization in innovative materials. Between 2015 and 2016, she works on Adhesive technology at Henkel for 8 months in the UK and then undertakes a 6 months internship at the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Convergent Bio-Nano Science and Technology, Monash University. Under the supervision of Dr. Nghia Truong, she works on engineering smart polymeric nanoparticles using RAFT-mediated emulsion polymerization and on inducing morphology transformation. She is currently a visiting scholar intern in the Hawker Group, with work focusing on photo-mediated living radical polymerization and is supervised by Dr. Athina Anastasaki.
