Lisa was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. She received her undergraduate degree from Queen’s University in 2010, where she studied tertiary amines for use as switchable hydrophilicity solvents with Philip Jessop. She completed her PhD at the University of Toronto in 2015, studying conjugated materials for organic electronics under the supervision of Dwight Seferos. Lisa joined the Hawker and Chabinyc groups as an Elings Fellow in October 2015.
Lisa is currently working on designing conjugated polymers with controlled hierarchical nanostructures.
