Kanghee Ku

Visiting Student
Bio:

Kanghee was born in 1989, and grew up in Busan, South Korea. She completed her B.S. in 2012, and her M.S. in 2014 at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) under the guidance of Prof. Bumjoon Kim. Her research interests are in the assembly of functional inorganic nanomaterials within the block copolymers microparticles. Recently, she developed non-conventional nanostructured block copolymer (PS-b-P4VP) particles by positioning of size and shape-controlled NPs at the surface of the microparticles (JACS 136, 9982, 2014). She has started her research study in Hawker group since July 2015 as a visiting researcher.

Research:

Kanghee is interested in the development of multi-functional hybrid nanomaterials based on the self-assembled block copolymers and size and shape-controlled nanoparticles.
