Justin graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a B.S. in Polymer Science and minors in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Religious Studies. As an undergraduate, he work with Professor Robson Storey and completed his Honors thesis in the area of living cationic polymerizations. Justin also participated in a summer internship at NIST Center for Neutron Research. In the fall of 2009, he began graduate school at UCSB in the group of Professor Craig Hawker.
Justin’s current research is focused on exploiting block copolymer lithography to obtain functional, well-defined PEO-based nanoparticles.
