Post Doc
Bio:

Jia graduated from Tsinghua University in China with BS (2005) and MS (2008) degrees in Chemistry. He then moved to Harvard University to pursue a Ph.D. degree with Prof. David R. Liu. His doctoral work focused on design an enzyme-free translation system to generate sequence-defined synthetic polymers from DNA templates, and the in vitro selections of these polymers for bioactive functions. Jia joins the Hawker group in October, 2014 as a postdoc to study polymerization strategies that could impart higher degree of sequence control or biocompatibility.
