Jerred Chute

Graduate Student
Bio:

Born in Vancouver, WA, moved to Keller, TX in 1993. I began attendance of The University of Texas at Austin in fall 2002. June 2004 through June 2006 I was privileged to work for Dr. C. Grant Willson on a variety of projects including: Photo acid/base generators, photolithographic polymers, imprint lithography, and self-healing polymers.

Research:

My current research constitutes synthesizing PSty-b-PHOST block copolymers for use as an interface agent to entropically favor certain polymer/polymer morphologies. I will be spending Summer 2007 at Los Alamos National Laboratory working on nanoparticle synthesis and stabilization methods, and low-temp selective graphite production on surfaces for electronics applications.
