Jasmine N. Hunt
Jasmine Hunt, originally from Normal, IL, completed her B.A. at Washington University in St. Louis in Chemistry and Religious Studies. While there, she researched in the lab of Prof. Karen Wooley and was a member of the WU varsity volleyball team.
Hydrophilic macromolecules for pulmonary gene delivery: PEG-based comb polymers with cationic termini can be used to encapsulate DNA through electrostatic interactions. When conjugated to cell penetrating and targeting peptides, these nanoparticles should contain the ability to efficiently and selectively transfect cells.
