Fulvio G. Brunetti
Fulvio G. Brunetti received his PhD in 2008 at the University of Trieste under the supervision of Professor Maurizio Prato, working on carbon nanostructures. He then moved to the University of California, Santa Barbara, as postdoctoral fellow with Professor Fred Wudl where he studied new acceptors for bulk heterojunction solar cells. After a brief period at IMDEA, Spain, as “Juan de la Cierva” researcher, he went back to Santa Barbara. He is currently developing novel materials for thermoelectric applications.
His interest is focused on the design and synthesis of new compounds for thermoelectrics and organic electronics such as dopants, fullerenes, as well as electron donor and accepting materials.
