Eunyong Seo received his B.S. degree in the Department of Polymer Engineering from Kyunghee University (2008). In 2011, he began his graduate studies in the School of Energy Engineering at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) under the direction of Prof. Byeong-Su Kim. He focused on the double hydrophilic block copolymer-templated nanomaterial synthesis and energy application for 4 years from the beginning of his graduate life. Then, he moved his research into the block copolymer polymerization to specifically investigate the effect of the various factors of block copolymer on the nanostructure synthesis in the solution. Since July 2015, he joined Prof. Craig Hawker’s group as a visiting scholar.
Eunyong is currently focusing his research on the block copolymer polymerization, block copolymer-templated nanoparticle synthesis, plasmonic nanostructures, and application into energy field.
