Eric graduated with Honors from the Materials Science and Engineering department at the University of Illinois and received his PhD in Materials from UCSB.
Eric's work is focused on developing polymer nanostructures for biomedical applications with a focus on cardiovascular imaging. To this end, novel polymer architectures have been developed wherein blood circulation and nonspecific organ uptake can be controlled. Current work involves in vivo targeting.
