Post Doc

Dong Sub Kim obtained his BS and MS (2008) in chemistry at Sogang University in Seoul, Korea under the supervision of Professor Won Koo Lee, where he worked on effective syntheses of biologically active small molecules from enantiomerically pure aziridines. He served as a research associates at Korea Institute of Science and Technology, working on the synthesis of ionic liquids under the guidance of Dr. Hyunjoo Lee and Professor Hoonsik Kim. He then flew to the United States and joined the Sessler group at The University of Texas at Austin. His research focused on the development of calix[4]pyrrole-based stimuli-responsive molecular self-assembly. In 2015, he joined Hawker group as a postdoctoral researcher.
