Carolin received her diploma in chemistry from the Heinrich-Heine-University Duesseldorf, Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Helmut Ritter in January 2012. During summer 2011 she completed a research internship in Michael M. Haley’s group at the University of Oregon with focus on organic synthesis. In May 2013 Carolin joined Craig J. Hawker’s group as a visiting scholar for six months. After receiving her PhD in December 2014, she re-joined the group as a postdoctoral researcher in February 2015.
Main aspects of interest are the preparation and characterization of functional polymeric materials as well as their optimization for potential applications.
